Damn, he was the man on that Harp! And he could sing with everything from within him. The real deal. Sorry I never saw him play.

Hey, check out the light hanging from the ceiling to the right(left of Wells), how its grooving to the music. . . lol. . . Junior makes lights feel the blues. . . lol. . . 1:09-1:18.

this is chillin’. listen to juniors voice. that ain’t comin from nowhere but the heart. an oh that harmonica. as raw as can be. dis is straight cut blues for you folks. not too many people like dis anymore.

John Campbell played well, but was devoid of emotion. . . he doesn’t approach Junior Wells.

I love this. . . I love the John Campbell version too. You should look that up if you’ve never seen it.

Gotta give props to the original though. Just awesome!

even for people that arent huge fans of the blues u definitely should still be able to appreciate this. . . thats what it looks like when someone is playin from their heart and soul. gives me chills. . . junior was a bad boy!

Huntington Beach 1969. Golden Bear. Junior had Luther Tucker on Guitar and a white guy playing sax. He danced out the door onto the coast hyway like James Brown, sax-man follows. Cars stop in both directions. People get out boppin’ with Junior. Wish I had a video of that, but I remember it like it was yesterday.

He’s up there with Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marely, and Chuck Berry. One of my all time favorite black musicians. Thanks, I hope if enough people listen to this, the world might appreciate the best music: Jazz, Classic Rock, and Blues.
