Quantum physics is not racist or sexist. That’s one reason why I love it.

2 vikkipollard6 July 6, 2010 at 10:05 pm

Lisa Randall is the bees knees.

If you read Kaku’s book Hyperspace the first thing he talks about is why he got into physics and the drive behind his life. He is not being mysogonist

4 Buzzlybonk July 6, 2010 at 11:00 pm

Kaku should have started his other talks with men with Where did you grow up? and where there a particular book ,, I hear a asian minded sexist. He obviously dont think about women in more than 1 dimension

@SmokingPhoenix85

I like her voice.

@hisvorpalswords

She was fine. She was just answering his questions.

It’s not like she brought it up. It isn’t that different from Neil Tyson being asked about race and how he chose to enter astrophysics. Usually he talks just about science, but if you ask him questions about himself and his experience, he’s fine with answering them.

What a complete waste of time to listen to this Michio! But can any among you sexists derive the inverse square law, or even solve a forth grade word problem? Because probably she can.

She “Thinks” A lot. . .

9 llthesunshinekidll July 7, 2010 at 1:04 am

i can’t believe the first part of this. . . she talked for sooo long about her schooling and shit

10 importedd July 7, 2010 at 2:01 am

She made some interesting points on M-Theory. But her apparel is the one of a hur.

11 SirCarlSagan July 7, 2010 at 2:51 am

There was no way i was watching that whole video. . . . umm. . uhh. . i’d'd’d. . uuummm. . . . maybe people couldn’t stand you at school because you studder so damn much!

@hisvorpalswords Its common to see mathematicians not being slick at communicating, I can totally identify with that. And she is freaking hot too so it matters quite a bit! good sir!

13 YanShen17x July 7, 2010 at 3:36 am

women are intellectually inferior to men. there i said it.

14 fleminem1 July 7, 2010 at 3:56 am

@BrothaDesmond1 i got that feeling a few months ago when i watched carl sagan’s cosmos. it has changed my view on life in a big way, for the better of course. =)

15 roddiero July 7, 2010 at 4:36 am

We know that women can’t do science. Or, if they attempt to do science, the rest of their brain, including the ability to communicate what they know, goes to shit.
There are probably 10,000 male scientists on the planet who would be more interesting and able to communicate for this interview than she is. Obviously, it’s just AA bullshit once again that she’s even wasting my time just now.

16 BrothaDesmond1 July 7, 2010 at 5:09 am

I probably had the oddest moment in which I got interested in physics. No I’m not a physicist (yet), but I study it on my off time.

17 2design1 July 7, 2010 at 5:44 am

To paraphrase, um, uh, uh, um, woman, um, um, math, um, uh.

18 ORVX July 7, 2010 at 6:15 am

It’s funny how she bicth’s about things not being fair for women when the ONLY reason she is paid AMY attenion is BECAUSE she is a WOMAN!

19 ORVX July 7, 2010 at 6:21 am

they are not fair, women get a pass until results are needed. we all pay for this!

20 ORVX July 7, 2010 at 7:13 am

@desalvoanthony have you?

21 j2donshker July 7, 2010 at 8:09 am

im sure she’s really clever but she’s not a good speaker at all! disappointing considering that what she’s talking about is so interesting.

Eistein was as you proffesor know high school drop out, and all the profesors like you hated him and tought he was stupid. Eistein was smart(smarter then all the profesors around him) but was still far from the truth.

23 4591rWaneleH July 7, 2010 at 9:24 am

No, no that one. ” You heard me but you did not understand me”. Wow! hear all their titles, it knocks you down immidiately, empty, pompous, and using all this rare words. Yeh, how woman can be a physicist? really, are we still living in dark ages? yes we do and everything has its own little man made order, and God forbide you want to be different they will eat you alive.

24 Jacnas July 7, 2010 at 10:17 am

Logic is a branch of math.

25 4591rWaneleH July 7, 2010 at 10:53 am

Math is man made (a game, the way we see the world around us), the Universe is not man made, so how you can explain things happening in the Universe using math. Why they don’t use any logic?
